LeMans Blue on Caramel.
Sadly because of it’s low miles, mint condition and the BaT crowd, it will probably go for way more than regular M5s.

My friend recently bought one that needed some love for $1250. We replaced all the suspension(bushings, ball joints, everything really) did valve cover gaskets, fixed the vanos, did a full exhaust and dinan intake, shark tune. It’s basically what you’re looking for!! Car isn’t as fast as I wish it was but man it’s a good car!

Guy had it sitting under a tree, behind a garage. Replaced twice over

That blue is the best color on that car imo.

The fact that you could find one, not completely ruined, for $1,250 makes the one at BaT not worth whatever it will go for. In fact, I’d argue a 540i 6-speed is a far better deal than nearly any E39 M5. Sadly. But that would be a great car, too.

Agreed :)

Yeah, that’s my favorite color combo on any BMW. Or the darker brown leather, too. My E46 wagon is a similar blue (it’s called topaz but is close) and the interior is tan, instead of the darker brown caramel or whatever the even darker one is called.
I don’t see that going for under $30k. You could get TWO nice 540i/6 speeds for that kind of money.

Yeah, this is definitely not “value for money” lol

I’d argue that the best value for money,
when it comes to M cars
, is at about 10 years of age.
Think about the prices of E39 M5's 4-5 years ago, compared to now. Or an E30 M3 in 2000, compared to now.
But your point is, that is a beautiful car. And that is a fact.

Hmm...I’ll keep that 10 year rule in mind :)

I’m going to test drive one on Monday, but it has 134k miles. Considering I want to actually drive it, I’d prefer not having something super low miles.
